K-Line Chart Guide

The K-line chart (Candlestick Chart) is one of the most core technical analysis tools in cryptocurrency trading. Mastering the platform’s K-line settings helps you analyze market trends more efficiently, judge directions, capture entry/exit points, and significantly improve trading decision quality.

I. K-Line Chart Page Overview

Enter the App trading page and select any trading pair to view the main K-line interface. It is mainly divided into three areas:

• Price Information Area: Real-time display of latest price, 24h high/low, change percentage, volume/turnover, etc. Some platforms support switching to latest trade price, index price, or mark price (for contract anchoring).
  • Latest trade price ≈ market quote price
  • Index price: Fair spot price weighted from multiple major exchanges.
  • Mark price: Index price + reasonable basis, used for unrealized PnL and liquidation price calculation.
• K-Line Chart Area: Supports multiple timeframes (1min, 5min, 15min, 1h, daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
  • Addable technical indicators: Volume (VOL), Moving Average (MA), Bollinger Bands (BOLL), MACD, RSI, Super Trend, etc. (some like Super Trend are App-only).
  • B (Buy) and S (Sell) markers on candles indicate historical trade direction; can be toggled in settings.
• Order/Trading Info Area: Displays order book depth, current positions, trading rules (min price increment, leverage levels, contract size, etc.). Familiarity with rules prevents operational errors.

Once familiar with the layout, you can quickly locate information, adjust parameters, and improve monitoring efficiency.

II. Price/Timeframe/Market Cap Adjustments

• Price display switch: Tap the latest price area to toggle between latest price, index price, or mark price.
• Timeframe switch: Quick selection from top bar or sidebar. Short-term traders prefer 1–15min charts; long-term prefer daily/weekly.
• Market cap & pair info: View coin market cap, circulating supply, 24h volume, etc., combined with liquidity to assess market activity.

III. Personalized Settings (Top-Right Settings Button)

Tap the top-right settings icon on the K-line chart to customize multiple features:

• K-line color & style: Default green up/red down; adjustable to red up/green down, hollow candles, line chart, etc., for better visual comfort.
• Change percentage timeframe:
  • Hong Kong time 0:00 (Beijing time 0:00): Change and candles calculated from local midnight.
  • UTC 0:00 (Beijing time 8:00): Global unified settlement start.
  • 24H rolling: Change calculated over rolling 24 hours; candles start from UTC 0:00.
• Quick order: Tap 【+】 on the right side of a K-line price to open order popup with pre-filled price; supports limit/market orders. Drag the price line to modify; post-order horizontal line appears (default on in some versions).
• K-line countdown: Enable to show remaining time for current candle completion, helping grasp timeframe switches.
• Drawing tools: Enter drawing mode for trend lines, Fibonacci, channels, etc. Lines can be locked, deleted, shared; App native version supports auto-sync save (TV version does not).
• Technical indicators: Tap 【Indicators】 to access settings; supports main chart (MA, EMA, BOLL, etc.) and sub-chart (MACD, VOL, RSI, etc.). Customizable parameters (e.g., CCI defaults to 14, adjustable to 5/20, etc.).
• Price scale: Switch between regular, percentage, or logarithmic scale (ideal for high-volatility coins).
• Other utilities: Estimated liquidation price, position cost display, price alerts, real-time monitoring, floating window, etc., for better multi-tasking efficiency.

IV. Order Book & Trading Rules

• Order book: Left side buy orders (green), right side sell orders (red); shows quantity at different price levels to judge support/resistance and depth.
• Trading rules: View settlement currency, minimum price increment, leverage range, contract multiplier, etc. Familiarity avoids invalid orders or unexpected losses.

By flexibly using timeframe switching, indicator overlay, drawing analysis, quick ordering, etc., you can interpret the market more comprehensively, capture opportunities, and manage risks. It is recommended to combine with the beginner academy to systematically learn K-line basics and further enhance analysis skills.
